Trial Of The Champion - Creation Kit
Skyrim Mod Dungeon
Trial of the Champion is a dungeon I made as a mod in Skyrim using Creation Kit. This dungeon acts like an obstacle course that needs to be completed under a time limit. I've used a custom magic effect, spell, quest, traps and triggers in this dungeon.
Gameplay:
Upon entering the dungeon, the player comes across a note that informs the player of the objective.
Reading the note also starts the quest to complete this dungeon.
After entering the main chamber, the player sees the plate that triggers the traps and opens the final door. This is also where the player will teleport to upon being hit by a spell.
The magic casters keep spawning teleportation spells on the player while the door is open. They have variable wait times and speeds.
Once the player passes the final door, a trigger recognizes that the quest has been completed.
The timer runs on the door's script and all the traps are connected with the door as an array of linked references. The door enables and disables the magic casters based on the timer. When the player gets hit by the teleportation spell, the door resets everything.
